I don't think Carol was even in the episode. I felt like Michonne and Rick have been sleeping together for some time. In the beginning of that episode she was running around the house in a robe. She has definitely been family, it doesn't feel like a romantic thing but I feel like they probably have been sleeping together. It really was not surprising.
Can't wait for Banshee, Hopefully we get a good view of Julie I know we already saw the back of her head in the trailer
