I think that there just wasn't enough promotion done until the last minute and I think that television, social media and the soundtrack weren't used enough to sell the movie to people who aren't Kristen Stewart fans or people who follow her career.

I think that some of these interviews needed to be released a bit earlier if nothing else to get people excited for the movie and the promotion for this movie shouldn't have been that hard to do. The fact that TPTB couldn't even really use the soundtrack and the fact that Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande are part of it and didn't even really promote it made some people wonder about the movie and I am sure that wasn't the intent but, no one even bothered to use the soundtrack and the A list talent on the soundtrack to an advantage to sell tickets and it can be done and it was with last year's "A Star Is Born."

It's sad because this movie had so many advantages not just on paper but actual things that could have been done to make the movie stand out that were never really used.
