But you will also miss part of Julianne's Oscar winning performance if you only watch the Kristen scenes with her. I saw it and even though I knew it would not be easy to watch because it was written in such a realistic manner with a strong cast and that was also one of the things that made the movie great and I am sure that this movie opened up a dialogue about an illness that is common but just not discussed like Cancer is as Alice herself mentions in the movie.
