I so agree! And when he did try and control her-it was to protect her-even if a few times, he was protecting her from Jacob. Understandable, considering that Edward and Jake were sworn enemies and Edward didn't know how much Jacob was in control of his "wild side".

Bella saved Edward. He was depressed and lonely and like you all said, never thought he would actually find someone that he could spend forever with. But Bella changed all that. Bella also felt out of place, not really unhappy per se, but she needed something and didn't know what that something was. It was Edward. It is a great
