I'm reading NM and I just got finished with the scene where Alice returns and sees that Bella is alive after having come to expect that she was dead.
I really loved that part in the book. I liked it in the movie but I wish it was the way it had been in the book with Alice sleeping over and the two of them, Bella resting her head on Alice's shoulder. I also loved how Alice was talking to Charlie in the morning about Bella's depression. When Charlie talked about Renee coming over and them packing Bella's stuff- gah another thing I wish had been the film- seeing Bella's temper tantrum by throwing all her stuff out of the suitcase not wanting to leave Forks. __________________

I wish that whole part was in the movie tbh
 I loved the Alice and Charlie scene and it said just how bad Bella's depression was. I think the part about her mom was so needed in there since the movie never even mentioned Renee knew what was going on with Bella after Edward left. It seemed like leaving her out __________________

Yeah I agree. It would've been good to have either a Renee mention or have Renee there because it seemed like only Charlie was dealing with it which really didn't seem all that fair.
Just because Renee was in Florida and Bella was an adult still didn't mean she didn't need her mom, or in this case Charlie needed her. __________________

Me too. She was fun. I really wanted to see more of that daughter/mother aspect in the sense that Bella often said she felt like a mother to Renee rather than the other way around.

Yeah same here. The book talked a little about how Renee was so into the wedidng planning so that would've been sweet.
