Hey girls...it wasn't so much that he was evil as he was so more into Rene than Bella when Rene was one twisted MF! He was completely under Rene's spell. I don't want to give anything away but will say in the end he tried to do the right thing. The fic I am reading now Charlie was killed in a plane crash and Bella was engaged to marry Jake who also died in the plane crash...it's another great fic which is full of angst and emotion. There some very talented writers in the fandom...right Missy?
