Same here. Love Ricky/Adrian. And I think Adrian is much better for John then Amy is. She's actually sweet with him, and treats him right. Amy is complaining half the time and has an attitude. Also when she told Adrian she was a slut, I was like HA, yeah Amy, and you're Mother Theresa, I must've missed that memo.

I can't say Amy hasn't been a bitch lately because she has. It's a fact. But who's to say Adrian hasn't been one either?

I'm not one to take sides with the whole Adrian/Amy situation. They both are at fault with their brawl.

But I also can't say Adrian would be a better parent. I agree, she was sweet with him. But has Adrian done any of that hard work yet? No. So we can't make judgements until we see enough to prove it. All I'm saying is sometimes we should give Amy a break. Not now though. She needs to grow up. But Adrian can't be crowned 'Mommy of the Year' until she starts working and seeing what it's like to be a teen parent....not that Adrian should of course. It's not like she needs to take care of John jut because she's with Ricky.

I don't think she's jealous or thinks that she sucks as a human being

We don't really see John enough to say who treats him better IMO. To me personally Ricky treats John better than everyone

But that's just from the limited scenes we've seen.

The writers wanted to show how HARD it was to be a teenage mother which is what led to moody Amy I think....

Didn't Adrian call Amy's mom something first though?

Like I said before, what both of them said was uncalled for and unnecessary.

Yikes, I wouldn't go as far as saying Amy sucks as a character, but she does need some work. She needs to make those changes she had mentioned before. But on a lighter note, she wasn't cranky

I personally love Amy. She may be a little bratty, but I don't blame her half the time, and the other half? I just tolerate it because girl does have a lot going on. I'd probably be whiny too.

Exactly. Adrian has had to do any hardwork with John. She got to play with a cute little baby, wouldn't you be sweet?

Exactly. We've seen Amy mad and crabby, but we also have to consider how little sleep she's getting and she's also juggling school, work, Ben, and her family drama. As much as she's getting on my nerves, I also kind of understand where she's coming from. She has a lot on her plate. Any teen parent is going to be stressed and that's going to translate through when Amy is with other people. I'm not excusing her for being mean to Ricky, but I am saying that even though she can be selfish, she is a good mother.

Adrian was with John for what, ten minutes? Of course she was all smiley with him that whole scene. He didn't cry or anything. Compared to Amy's life right now, Adrian's is easy. She has her drama, but not to the same extent.

I didn't even see this statement but yeah, disagreed very much, I think that Amy could do way better then what she's doing now but it doesn't seem fair to say that Adrian would be better

Plus if you're going to say a character sucks or something along that you might want to put spoiler tags around that, some people might get offended

I really don't think the kiss will be until the end of the season cause have they ever given us any Ramy right off the bat? No never, it's always at the end of the season. They must cliff hang us to leave us interested still am I right?

AMEN to your whole frickin' post. Aside from the fact that I don't think they have any chemistry, I would dread Ricky/Amy getting together. He can never do anything right in her eyes. And, why is she trying keep him from his son again? Yes, he does not contribute a lot of money but he does what he can. And considering the fact that he is a teenage boy, that is more than most teenage boys would do.

Amy does act like she can't stand her son. She resents him and blames him for her "inability" to have a life.

I don't understand how the audience is supposed to root for this immature, selfish brat.

The writing on this show is so inconsistent. In this episode, when Ricky was talking to George, Ricky said he wanted Amy/Ben to stay together because she might come to him and he wouldn't want to have to reject her as well. And, supposedly, in the previews, they were kissing? And yeah. I have not seen any pining for Amy on Ricky's part.

Hey, I totally understand your guy's anger with Amy as a character but I went ahead and put spoiler tags over the name-calling of your post, just to be safe that we don't offend anyone. It's just getting a little on the borderline of bashing, and we try to keep it really light here. You are absolutely allowed to voice your own opinion, and I don't want anyone to feel like they can't, but I'm just saying, be careful and if you think it might come off as offensive (like calling a character a name) put it under spoiler tags.

But you're right about one thing, this show does tend to be lacking good writing at times, this definitely wasn't a favorite episode
