Because she is funny also. Because money doesn't matter to Amy when it comes to guys. Because she stutters when she is lying or nervous about something. Because she's new to the world of dating. Because she's honest. Because she has awesome fashion sense. Because she is strong, despite the circumstances. Because she eventually wants to go to Julliard. Because she likes to stare at the moon. Because when she cries, it makes us want to cry! Because she's dealing with a lot for her age. We're proud of her. Because her room is really colorful! Because she has a butterfly on her door. Because she made the best decision for HER. Because she just wants to be normal. Because she stood up for herself. Because she went back to her old school. Because she is handling the pregnancy without any help. Because she is the sweet young girl who writes poetry about the moon and teacups. Because she gets excited over $20. Because she got a job at a daycare center. Because she looked cute placing the overalls on her unborn son. Because she's keeping the baby. Because 12 hours of labor was well worth it. Because she's new at the whole mom thing. Because Amy has friends too. Because Amy wants to do right by John. Because she is "the woman" Because John is not a punishment for anything Because she is rocking the headband hair style! Because even though she may be known as the pregnant girl to some, she's happy that John got in the yearbook Because even though she has a baby, summer school, and a mother whose having a baby, she is still getting through it better than most teens. Because Amy agrees with Ricky when he said, "When everything else is bad in our lives, at least we've got him" Because she's overprotective of John Because she stood up to the coach and that surprised everyone! Because she's finally standing up for herself! I'm Keeping My Baby! In the pilot episode, we learned that fifteen year old Amy Juergens had gotten pregnant. Now the time finally arrived where we got to find out if Amy was going to keep her baby. She had thought of an abortion but could not go through with it. The next obstacle was adoption. Amy wanted what was best for her son by giving him a life that she felt he would be better off if two responsible adults took care of him. Thanks to the help of her thirteen year old sister Ashley, she told Amy of a possibility that the best thing for Amy's baby would be for the two of them to stay together and that the baby would be a good thing throughout all of the chaos in their lives. So with help from her family and her friends, Amy came to the decision that she would in fact keep her son! Being a mother won't be easy but as Amy goes on to say to her own mother, "I can be a good mom because I've got the best mom in the whole world." Because she makes pregnancy look hott Because Shai has a cute laugh. Because Brenda Hampton chose her. We never seemed to have gotten much of the real Amy because she's been sad and stressed from the pilot. I'm hoping we get Amy from bandcamp, she was really sweet back then

Shai is so pretty.
I miss the old Amy from bandcamp.  I hope we get that sweet side of her next season. We haven't had that side of her in a long while. I hope she starts growing up a little more. I am really glad she has finally started to show she loves and cares for John. We had lots of cute scenes of them last season. __________________
