Why do you like Life on Mars?

I am a new fan of the show, but I like it because I like history. I like seeing how things used to be and how things are now and I think the show does a really great job on that. It is really cool especially to see the old cop tactics and the new.

And I love watching Sam and Hunt punching each other.

I like it because it's one of the few shows where I have a hard time finding a character I dislike. I also love the political incorrectness of Gene Hunt. There's something truly awesome about a character that tells it like he sees it, rather than beat around the bush.

I started watching because of how they were saying that it takes place in 1973. I thought "Cool!" I always wondered what 1973 was like.
But I ended up learning so much more than just the clothing, hair-styles, & music of that time.
I learned that this cast of characters, and their relationships with each other were amazing!
Love them or hate them, they always got your attention. They will be greatly missed by me.

Very eloquent. I hope you get to know the British gang, obviously they have some similarities, but there differences help flesh them out.
