I'm hoping Sam will come up again in season 3, and we finally get to find out what happened with him in a bit more detail
Even when he's not being mentioned though, we see his influence on Gene all the time during A2A  Plus the very first A2A episode with Gene drinking and looking at the newspaper clip of Sam!  __________________
