Railway Arms (Off Topic) #2: Walkman? Sailor Moon? Share your childhood memories here *lol*

Carry on

Sorry, couldn't come up with a witty title right now - so suggestions are appreciated

Bee, it sure is, the song is great, but if it's stuck in your head for too long it might get annoying

Speaking of MP3 players, my iPod Nano is working fine so far (it's only 10 months old, so that should be expected *knocks on wood*), of course it doesn't have a FM tuner, but the video thingy is working just fine. Not that I use it that much, but it's a nice thing to have..

Moonie has an iPod touch and she told me that it glitches once in a while, and she had it just under a year.

ETA: so my problem is my mp3 player came with Samsung Media Studio (SMS) to transfer files, but you can also drag-n-drop, all of a sudden last December I couldn't transfer files to my mp3 player anymore, and then last July I tried it out on my sister's computer and it worked. So I went home and upgraded my computer, it worked. But then it stopped working, my SMS crashes, and every time I try to drag-n-drop, I get an error saying the file cannot be copied, it may not exist or may be being used by another program.

Maybe the world is trying to tell us that we should go back to the old days of the walkman.

My mp3 player is picky when uploading to it, sometimes it works like a top other times, not so much.

Nad the best solution for that is to have the video stuck in your head, it works wonders.

Janet, that sounds very weird. Did you try to re-install the program? Sometimes that helps

But yeah, the only thing you had to worry about with a walkman was a) running out of batteries and b) the prospect of having your worn out tape stuck in the machinery at one point

Which would probably lead to me running around grinning all day because the vid is so hilarious - think that would go over well at work?

Of course it will. Once they see why you're acting a bit nutty, they'll fully understand.

I did, but no go. I'm wondering if it's got to do with Windows. Thursday I'll hook up my mp3 player to a school computer and see if I can access my mp3 player through explorer, if yes, then it's my computer (and I need to find a copy of XP with service pack 2 or Vista, neither of which I have), if no: it's my mp3.

go walkmans!

walkmans rocked! They weren't so sensitive (hint, hint mp3 player manufacturers).

Chrissy. I'm so desperate to see more but I can't find 19 on.

So true - I stopped to count how often mine was dropped or something at one point

Am I the only one who didn't really watch Sailor Moon?
