wow, that is beautiful - and quite a challenge! Thanks for mentioning it! He dreams of backpacking trails all over the world and I do recall he's mentioned some in Canada, but don't remember if the Canol is one of them. I'll send him the link! Thanks again!

Tracey, if I were to cycle anywhere I'd probably stick to the east or central Canada. PEI has a great little biking trail that was formed from an old railway line. The Trans-Canada trail is actually a multitude of trails connected or will be connected in the next few years.
