Wow, thank you for that synopsis! I'm wondering if it was ever shown in the US, or strictly British series? Because it sounds fascinating!

There was an American remake which we tend to not speak about.

The American remake is why we actually have the board here.

If you could bring any cancelled tv show back on air, which one would you give the second chance/extended life to?

Oo good question, I'd say Angel or Lie to Me from the top of my head and Ashes to Ashes of course

I am a big Buffy fan, and I've never watched Angel. I should be ashamed of myself.

It would've been great to get more A2A, but the show had such a perfect, bittersweet ending. It's more painful when the cancellation is abrupt and you never get to find out how the story would've been wrapped.

Off the top of my head, my pick would be Better Off Ted. It was a delightful little ABC comedy. It's hard for me to really laugh at/enjoy a comedy series, and that one was great. The ratings were tragic, but I still wish I could have got to see more episodes.
