I don't watch movies so I don't actually know.

You can say more than one.

I'm choosing between snobbish and non-snobbish answer. :P

crazy_diamond 03-26-2011 01:06 PM

Hmm for me I'd say 'The Money Pit, 'Frankie & Johnny' (1991), 'The Commitments', 'Hot Fuzz', 'Airplane'

The scene where that girl is like dying and the other girl is playing the guitar and singing is one of the funniest things I ever saw. :lmao:

I usually go with the first.

Ok movies that I can think of :
- Bringing Up Baby
- My Man Godfrey
- most of the Woody Allen movies - especially the early ones like Sleeper and Love and Death
- Une Femme est Une Femme...I love those funny surrealistic movies
- yesterday I saw The Night of the Iguana and I laughed so hard at some parts

I'll try to think of some modern ones. :D

You should. I would recommend it even to people who don't really care about old movies.

Same here. Katharine Hepburn was fierce both on-screen and off. She actually bonded with Baby. ;)

Kate is my queen. :in_love: Too bad she didn't take the part in His Girl Friday, she's so good in comedies, but at least like that Rosalind Russell got a part in a movie that some people might have seen. :)

crazy_diamond 03-28-2011 11:27 AM

I'll have to watch that one day :)
