I'm glad you all agree. My family is very animal oriented so I guess I'll always care for neglected animals. I just can't understand people who'd live their pet out in the street somewhere.

Me either. Even with what happened in Japan I know the people who lived in places that were affected and survived were lucky to even be alive but the number of people who just left their pets just makes me sad

I could never do that, they wouldn't have stood a chance.

I know what you mean. I always have transporters for my rabbit and guinea pigs close to my reach in case something happens in my apartment. Surely the pets is the first thing you think about, if you don't have kids.
