Non-LoM Recommendations Thread: Because it's clear we all have great taste
I saw this on the Ewan McGregor board and thought it was a genius idea. Anyone have any recommendations?
I'd like to recommend Lost in Austen, it's a couple of years old but it's still a brilliant escape. __________________

Good idea
Like to recommend the novel 'Heartsick' by Chelsea Cain, a book about a serial killer, a damn good read, couldn't put the book down once I started.. __________________

That sounds good.
I really like the Thursday Next series. It's got some great fantasy elements (the line between reality and fiction is getting thinner, characters and people can cross over from one world to another. For example Thursday went into Jane Eyre as a child and caused Rochester and Jane to meet the way we know they meet) and it is set in an alternate timeline (it's 1985 and the Crimean War is still being thought). |

recommend 'The Horse Whisperer' by Nicholas Evans. Love the film that the book is adapted, but I think this is better, as they left a few things out in the film that in the book fits better..

I thought you meant you had seen it. If I see it before you do I'll let you know what it's like.
