I don't know about in the UK, but in the U.S. there's very little (almost no) value placed on overseas sales. That's why I don't think it'll really matter.

I know it got good ratings over Christmas, considering how busy it is during that time, so hopefully that will sway the BBC

I still haven't seen Upstairs Downstairs either, I did record them all, I just haven't got round to actually watching them.
