That's true!
Here's one of the trailers: YouTube - Ashes to Ashes Series 3 Episode 7 Trailer And I'm sure if you look you can find clips from the episode, but I don't really want to post them here. |

Someone posted the links on the A2Ashes community and the link names were spoilery (That's BBC's fault) so I figured why not?

I haven't watched any clips for this episode either. I just watched the preview at the end of the last episode.

GUH. Holy bleeping crap. I don't know if it's because it's still fresh in my mind but that is by far my favourite episode of the season, everyone outdid themselves. I could have killed Keats for interrupting Gene and Alex, and guh they were so pretty and guh. Seriously, I've been typing up a storm and then I I got to "so pretty and..." then I had no way to describe it. Like Gene was almost putting on a show, but really just treasured having Alex in his arms.
I'm so glad Chris stood up for his beliefs, but I wonder why he seemed almost out-of-character... maybe not OOC, really, but everything added together made him less sympathetic. I know some people laugh when dealing with a tragedy (We all know of the Mary Tyler Moore show where she cracked up at a funeral and everyone else started laughing, right? My cousins and I cracked jokes at my aunt's viewing) but that coupled with the "my best mate and..." before storming off kinda made him seem like a douche. Oh well, he figured out what was right for him and stood up to the guv, so I am (like the guv and Shaz) proud of him for that. Ahh, Ray and Shaz: they're quickly turning into my crack pairing. I them so much. I realize I'm not as wordy, but I am just as flaily. He seems to have grown up so much (some of the time!) around her. Nelson's voice, I knew it when I saw the clip and everyone else was saying the same, so I'm glad Chris brought it up (and made it canon!) what's interesting is what some people are saying now. There's the Nelson is St. Peter, but the idea that Nelson's accent is fake (and only Sam knows this) kinda makes you wonder if he ties into it further. Or maybe, just maybe! Doctor Who and Ashes to Ashes are bleeding into each other and Ashes to Ashes has a giant crack in time, and 70s Manchester is bleeding into 80s London. Oh, and total A+ to everyone involved. May Daniel Mays move onto less scuzzy roles (I've only seen him in this and Hustle) |
