i've been wondering that too ... although i'm pretty sure they expect they will get a series 3 ... i really hope they do i have really loved this series but i feel like there could totally be a 3rd ... so much to be explored i think

after the bullet is taken out of Alex's head and she wakes up on the floor there's a song playing, the lyric "i'm in love" is repeated quite a lot while she's hugging Gene. i forgot that until i rewatched. bbc iplayer ftw
