Modern-day NYPD Detective Sam Tyler finds himself suddenly hurtled back to the tumultuous times of New York City in 1973 when he's hit by a car while chasing down a criminal.

I know it's a wee bit early but it's less then a week. :nod: Time to get all pumped up! :yay:

It sounds like an interesting episode. :nod: It should be fun since I haven't seen the pilot for the UK version, this will all be new to me. :nod:

I wonder how similar both episodes will be, or will the US do it's very own version? :shrug:

ABC has been alot of promoting recently and they got me... I have to see the premiere. It looks fantastic. Can't wait for Thursday!

I've still only seen the add a couple of times...I need to watch more ABC. :nod:

The promos are really good, it does look good.

We get to find out how good it is in just a few hours :yay: ...it's funny I hadn't even heard of this show until I became a temp mod here and now I'm completely pumped to see it. :yay: ...word of mouth works! :lol:

I liked it. Actually, I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. I think that some of the cast will take some time to grow on me (specifically Harvey Keitel and Gretchen Mol), but I loved the guys playing Chris and Ray.

Like I said, Harvey Keitel will take some time to grow on me, his version of Gene Hunt isn't as loud and macho as what I'm used to, as how Gene is supposed to be (to me at least).

I really enjoyed it. :nod: I wasn't sure if I'd like it but I loved everything about it, the cast has great chemistry, great storyline, wonderful setting...and the music! I love how they weaved it into almost every scene tonight, I hope it's an on going thing. :nod: ....and do I dare say I'm shipping Sam/Annie already?

This show is so good, the Pilot was the best one all season and the best one that I have seen since Desperate Housewives 4 years ago.

The cast is fantastic, I love the chemistry with everyone expecially between Sam and Annie. And I finally found a show that I can easly quote from. Best new show of the season by far.

I thought the Pilot was really good, I already feel ties with the characters. My only complaint is that the case seemed a bit rushed. But it was interesting...I think he almost shot the little boy, did any one else gather that? :look: And I'm totally feeling Annie and Sam! But when he hears Maya, I could tell he loves her and just wants to be back with her.

I liked the episode, loved the cast, every thing was just pure win. Can't wait for the next episode. I'm not sure who to ship just yet I need to watch more episodes to gather this, or at least watch the episode agian to see what I feel between characters.

My favorite part of the episode was when the doctor was in the television, I was like "Woah!" :eek: It was freaky...

That was the great thing about this episode, you want to watch it again. some shows you watch once and that's enough but when this one was over I wanted to rewind and try to catching things I missed etc. Thankfully I recorded it. :lol:

The episode is sooo good! The cast was amazing. I'm really happy the premiere was as good as i thought it was going to be. I think my favorite part was the scene with Gretchen Mol and Jason O'Mara in his apartment.

can't wait for this Thursday! I'm probably going to watch the premiere again before Thursday.

I'm looking forward to the second episode too, if it's anything like the first one, we're in for a great season. :nod:
