Josh is set to star in the new Thai-Remake of the movie, "Shutter". He plays the role of Benjamin Shaw, a photographer who is on honeymoon in Japan with his wife, played by Rachael Taylor.

Does anybody know when ANYTHING is coming out for Shutter? This is getting pathetic. Drillbit taylor already has a tv spot and its coming out on the same day! hurry up fox and i am sick of waiting!

Hee. It takes the TV spot for Drillbit to bring Patty out of hiding.

It's never coming out! Fox hates Josh!

Maybe that WAS the trailer.
The trailer for The Condemned- 1:30
The trailer for The Fast and the Furious- 1:25
Not all trailers last 2:30. Maybe it's the marketing strategy of the studio, to just show enough to pique interest. But hey, I hope I'm wrong! Plus, isn't there going to be stuff on Shutter at WonderCon this weekend?

This doesn't make me feel any better. The trailer didn't show anything! Everybody else got 2:00 + trailers why not Shutter? Also, why call it the TEASER trailer then?

27 Dresses got a full length trailer

Even that poor excuse for a movie The hottie and the nottie got a full length trailer!

A few AMC theaters in my area have the Shutter movie poster inside the lobbies. I was excited to see that, along with the poster for Indiana Jones! And Patty, I believe next week's Fangoria will have an article on Shutter (as you reported last month.)

Horror films can be tricky, IMO. You don't want to completely bombard the public with advertisement premature. It can get old really fast.

Comedies, Romantic Comedies, etc. have a slightly better shelf life and tend to go over better to a wider variety of age groups and sexes.

Last weekend I was at the Cine' Arts theater in Santana Row and there was a poster of Shutter. So, there are signs out there.

Oooh. I sure hope Josh caught an early flight out of Toronto and doesn't get stranded for his appearance at WonderCon in San Francisco, since Mandy has gone to see him. That would be such a bummer. Keep your fingers crossed, everyone.

When I checked the weather in Toronto, there didn't seem to be any inclement weather to delay any flights. So far the weather here (the Bay area)is okay, but a strong storm is due Saturday afternoon into Sunday with lots of rain and strong winds with major gusts predicted. He may have difficulty leaving SF!
I think Mandy was just staying over Friday night and heading back to southern CA Saturday night. Hopefully she will stay over an extra night if the storm is as bad as they're predicting.
I had a ticket to go, but something has come up and I cannot attend, so I am hoping for some pictures and a good report!

Official site is updated. Lots of cool new stuff (including more pics and tv spots.) Check it out. Unfortunatly, I think that is the only trailer going to be made available. Funny, though, the tv spots showed more clips from the movie than the trailer. It explained a lot more. The tv spots were way better than the trailer. Josh-"Let's have some cake!"
