Thanks for posting that wonderful scene, Patty.

I love their bench scenes, and this one was even more telling, I think, about Olivia's burgeoning attraction for Peter. She just had to get away from the intense staring. It was good to see her uncomfortable with him!

i agree, the staring was intense. i noticed that watching tv but i didnt realize how long they were staring until i saw this clip.

cant believe we have to wait 3 weeks to see these two again.

I agree, the tension between Peter and Olivia is growing in every episode and it was very evident at the end of The cure.

So do you think they'll get closer soon or will we have to wait forever like with Mulder and Scully in X-files

But how would it fit in with the strong felings she still has for John?

It will be interesting to see how that plays out....

Olivia does have strong remnant feelings for John, but he betrayed her. Also, notwithstanding her very real "encounters" with John lately, he's dead.

I can see her getting closer and closer to Peter, and then *poof*, a John Scott virtual appearance comes between them!

I'm not even sure he is really dead , I thought Massive Dynamic was keeping him in some sort of "frozen status"....

But I agree, Olivia and Peter will get closer.... and John will get in the way

Silly question:

who would yu choose? Peter or John? i know what my answer is going to be

That's a definite possibility. The show hasn't dealt with reanimation yet. Except: remember when Nina asked that John's body be questioned? He'd been dead for 5 hours. Nina confirmed he was dead.

Who really knows.

I really want them to become great friends first, relying on each other for anything and everything. I think that's where they're headed now, especially with the upcoming introduction of their respective exes.

This is good stuff.

I think that the expectation of them getting closer is better than the happening itself.....

that's something i have always like about mulder and Scully in X-files.

Oh, I worry if the expectation becomes greater than the happening itself. Then when the happening happens, I'm all depressed and frustrated because the happening wasn't as good as the expectation.

You might be right there....

When i saw the X-files movie, and the happening happened between Mulder and Scully...... I don't know....it seemed strange, a bit out of place.

It depends how the writers deliver it tough, it might be better with Peter and Olivia
