Love that pic Shell, and notice that he is showing his wedding ring so the viewers know how he feels. All the little touches in Fringe scenes just add to how great the show was. There was so much more to explore with all the characters and scenarios it could have lasted a lot longer. Oh well, we will have to make do with all the gorgeous pics that have come out of it.

Elizabeth and Walter is one of my favorite scenes in s4. So amazing. I wish Peter had had more time with the other Elizabeth.

I love that pic because it shows off his hands nicely.
I would have loved to have had more than 5 seasons of Fringe if they had keopt it more episodic but I might have gotten bored if they kept up too much of one storyline. I still would have loved the characters as they were so likable. There is no shame for a show to last five seasons and sometimes shows that go on longer and really shouldn't. __________________

I think there was a lot they touched on but never elaborated on, so I think there would have been enough material to make it interesting. Just seeing the great relationships every week would have been worth watching for alone. John and Josh were so good together and I'm sure they could have done more with the Astrid characters. They could have stretched out the two Universes working together a bit longer too.

Well if season 5 hadn't been the last I think they would have put a lot more in about how they got to the year season 5 started. They couldn't really have gone on after Walter disappeared except perhaps found William Bell and tried to work with him to bring Walter back, and if that didn't pan out try to bring Bell to justice.

Except Bell ceased to exist at the end of S4.

Bell was still around in season 5 as he betrayed them to the Observers which was why they had to amber themselves. If the Observers didn't exist in 2015 when Walter disappeared, Bell would have been around somewhere - and kept his hand! I think he disappeared into the other Universe at the end of season 4 and somehow got back in season 5 to betray the team.

It never explained how Bell managed to cross back and forwards between Universes, so perhaps it was to remain a mystery. He just vanished off the boat in the season 4 finale so it must have been something he could do without harm. Maybe that is what caused his cancer, which wasn't mentioned in Season 5.

Seriously there is so much that didn't get explained, I guess we will never know
