There wasn't an episode where it was shown to the whole school. Dawson and Joey watched it in Dawson's room. Joey made the comment about the guy in the video having throbbing neck muscles. So the only ones to have seen it was Dawson, Joey and then Pacey got the video from Dawson.

Anyway, I've been rewatching Dawson's Creek after so many years and man, I forgot how much I loved Pacey Witter....like really really loved him. Sarcastic and funny, yet kindhearted and sensitive. And the depths he'll go to for the people he cares about is unmatched. When he beat up he guy in the parking lot who destroyed Joey's painting it was honestly the greatest thing ever. Of course I could rattle off tons of things Pacey did over 6 seasons that was great but it would be a very long night!

You might be thinking of the time Dawson got caught up on stage making out with Eve while his Minutemen Video was playing and then the screen went up and they were semi naked (or on their way to removing clothes).

There is honestly nothing about Pacey that I don't absolutely adore. He was the best part of the whole show and I agree with everything you said about him.

Even when the writers disappointed me, Pacey was always great.

When I say I'm rewatching Dawson's Creek I should clarify I'm rewatching all the Pacey scenes only. I just never liked Dawson. Too square and boring. And I will never forget how truly awful he was toward the end of S3 when PJ came out as a couple. It was a no brainer to put PJ together at the end. Pacey Witter = everything that you could ever want in a guy...truly.

OMG, you are a woman (man) after my own heart. I am so into Pacey and so NOT interested in Dawson. When I watch DC I too skip over the Dawson scenes unless Pacey is in them of course :lol:


That is a very true statement.

I loved the way Pacey took care of Andie toward the end of S2. When she locks herself in the bathroom and he convinces her to choose him...that is such a beautiful, although painful and heartwrenching, moment. And of course his goodbye, which always makes me cry.

"I don't want to say goodbye. I just want to look at you. I wish I had some eloquent parting words for you, but all I could think of was this: Thank you. Thank you for everything you've done for me. Thank you for forcing me to be the man you made me. Just thank you. I am so grateful to you, Andie. Just remember your promise, okay? You and me together again, happy, healthy, more in love than ever. You'll get better, McPhee. Then you hurry back to me."

Instead she cheats on him and that's the end of Pandie. *sigh*

Pacey was one of a kind and incredibly adorable.

Well the end of Pandie left things wide open for Pacey and Joey which I love and are my OTP, but if you love Pandie, we do have a Pandie Thread you can talk more about it.

Oh I love PJ too. I ship both couples for different reasons.

Don't get me wrong, I loved Pacey and Andie together, but it's mainly because of my huge love of all things Pacey. The only thing I didn't like about Pandie was that it seemed Pacey worked harder at their relationship than Andie did and that was proven a few times. So when she cheated, I wasn't at all surprised whereas others feel that it was so random and not believable. If it wasn't believable then why wasn't I surprised? :lol:

It's the way Pacey was toward Andie and in general that may me a fan of Pandie. He really changed from season 1 to 2 because of that relationship. He worked hard to do better in school and he just really took care of her in a way that was incredibly endearing and grownup. Andie's mental state would likely have made any other guy run in the opposite direction, but Pacey refused to go anywhere. He defied the odds.

That sealed it for me too, but I was already a Pacey fan in S1, so it just made him even more loveable and likeable IMO.

So I was rewatching s5 last night, ep 22 when Pacey is in the car with the lady who took over Civilization, what was that?

Yeah, that was so strange. I did like how Pacey handled the situation though, fearless and scared to death all at the same time. And he still wanted to make sure she was okay. They just don't make guys like him, no wonder he ruined it for so many by setting such high expectations for women everywhere :sigh:
