I just love those sparkly banners...

and I love that quote....it really speaks to the P/J love story...

some of their oldest happiness...

I love the fact that he was willing to pay someone to make her happy and they weren't even dating yet...He was so happy to just make her smile...I think you can see that he really cares for her and knows how hard her family life is...and he wants to be there for her. The foundation of "True love" was being built...right here!!!

I looove when he took her to the party at the beach, he so wanted her to have some fun and remember that he was her hero that day!

I love in that episode we have a lot of PJ scenes, with banter and sweetness, I love when she calls him a Satan's disciple

Pacey: Hey Jo.
Joey: Oh thank you, Satan, for completing this night of horrors by sending one of your disciples to finish me off.

In VDM, she was worried about him, she didn't want him to fall in Satan's hands...

She was starting to fall in love for him so slowly, and the things that bothered her about him before, now worried her...

Joey: Well, I was worried about you too, Pacey.
Pacey: Me? Why?
Joey: I don’t know. Because, I mean, Satan himself could lead Dawson into the fiery pits of hell but he would still emerge with his moral code intact. But you… Maybe I think that nobody’s worrying about you right now.

I just saw The Kiss and think Dawson had a visionary comment

Dawson: One day you'll understand Joey. You'll know what it's like to long for someone, to desire to want to kiss them, and then you're going to come to me and say, "Dawson, you were right." See Joey. All you have to do is believe.

Love that post.....so true. I love that DC gave us those little predictions and throw backs......some that you never really know if they did on purpose or not.

I know, lol. I'm sure they didn't know they were going to write a PJ love story, it's awesome how it fit so well in spite of that, when you start to watch the show again, it's like they would've been always on their minds or in the back

When Jen and Pacey were at the hospital, and Pacey acknowledges his undying love for Joey...

Jen: So, do you plan on borrowing her or stealing her from your best friend?

I wonder how Jen knew PJ used to banter about the borrow/steal Pacey's habit

Pacey: Can you watch the car, Jo?
Joey: Why?
Pacey: Well, I can't really turn it off. I mean I can but its a hazard 'cause I don't have the keys.

Joey: Oh yeah, I forget, you steal.

Pacey: Hey, you borrow from family. You never steal.

I miss so much their awesome banter!

great pics romina. I still use the borrow an steal in my everyday life every once in a while and also when something says I think or you know. ha

she sure didn't mind him driving her all the way to her father's in his stolen car a few episodes later. LOL

He also says in teh season 1 finale when she says can't you steal your dad's car and he says I prefer to call it borrowing

good point about Jen. She wasn't even in that scene. Interesting, that she was talking to Pacey about Joey in the finale and was sort of in a little way fluffing them with that line. None of her interaction with Dawson was about Joey

I really think... no, I know, that that is why this show is such a gem. All those little throw-backs just take you right back to that time and scene... and just make you smile. And the thing is they weren't overused, either. It was often really subtle and that's part of where the show's charm was!

I love she laughs while she's saying because she knew he would've never cheated on her while they were together
