That he did. I am glad Pacey and Joey got to sail off into the sunset together at the end of season 3.

I agree. That scene is such a jewel for me. I treasure it so much that I only watch it when I do a full rewatch of Season 3. I mostly watch Four to Tango, Stolen Kisses, The Longest Day, or Castaways when I'm in need of a quick fix, but I save True Love for when I can watch the whole season and truly appreciate everything from Dawson's cry face (SO gratifying after the a**hole he'd been from the end of Season 2 to that moment) to the sight of the True Love sailing off into the sunset. I never, ever imagined we would be gifted with so much. My eyes still well up with tears of happiness when I watch that scene, and only because it's the only sweet P/J scene I haven't worn out by watching it a million times over the years. It is the most gratifying, romantic, perfect ending to a television season that I've ever seen.

I agree. That moment of them sailing away into the ocean is just the perfect ending, especially after slave driver Dawson acted like such a possessive ahole when he found out about Pacey and Joey, and acted like he owned Joey and acted like he had the right to dictate and demand who she should be with (but I also still hate that Joey LET him walk her around on a leash like that. I would of told Dawson to go F himself) I also like their kiss before they sail away, you could see the raw passion and showing how much they missed each other. I also loved how happy both of them were as they kissed and afterwards. Every time I see them sail away, I still wish we could of watched their summer together *le sigh* Best season finale of DC.

It would have been cool to see their summer together. Or at least got some flashbacks. I am so happy we got that final scene of them sailing off though.
