It's like she knew in the back of her mind that she wanted things to eventually work out with them. She said in the next episode what he said was in the back of her mind. She was the one who brought up about him not being over which showed that was something she wanted to know all those months. I think months had gone by since that dinner. If I didn't want to know something, I would not bring it up. She used being drunk to see if it was true |
Testing the waters so to speak. His reaction to that was cute and he didn't really know what to say, but he also didn't deny it either.

He starts joking about cuddling with Jack. It kind or reminds me of the scene in 503 after Joey brings up how their relationship and mentions what happened. He changes the subject and jokes and says, "they dated once" and she jokes back |
