Regardless of the fact that Pacey and Joey didn't have scenes together in S2, Pacey did shine and we did get to see a softer side to him which really helped him be believable in how he interacted with Joey in the beginning of S3.

The seeds were already formed in season 1. Season 1 starts out and PJ don't really get along, but as the season goes, they are there for each other. Pacey watched out for her when she was drunk. She went to talk to him about the rumors. She protected him from the guy. They had a sweet conversation together. He took her to see her father when she needed to go. The writers probably didn't even realize they were writing a good foundation for them

The funny thing about that S1 connection is that is was unintentional, like you said, they didn't even realize that they were building a good foundation for them. Bute once they did that and saw their chemistry, it was hard to ignore.

I like how jealous she got when he starts talking about going out with Karen. She's like who's Karen and Pacey's like "Do you really want to have that conversation now?" and she's like sugar high. It showed she did care, but Pacey was the one who said he didn't want to talk about it

That is a cute PJo moment. I like that they mention about the Rave not being their thing and how Pacey says it makes him realize how much he likes the old when Joey said they were trying something new.

That is cute too. I notice that Andie says she loves them both. Someone pointed out to m that Gail says in the series finale that she loves them both like it was implying she knew they were going to be together. I never even thought of that, but it's an interesting way to look at it. She could have said she loved them separately

I saw this pic on the DC Source FB page. I notice in a lot of pics Katie is usually leaning or facing toward Josh (like in the second pic), I even notice that in some of the promo pics.

I can see them both now and I too like when she's blushing, it's like she wants to say more just like he wants to say more, but they hold back. It's actually very cute.
