| good points romina I think Pacey's breakdown made sense. It came at the wrong time, but it actually is not that ridiculous to believe. | ITA with you, guys. Promicide is too sad, but the next episodes (Separation Anxiety and The Graduate) are very comforting, they are angsty, but we know how much they love each other, we can feel their pain and their hope to be together although all the odds were against them. I just needed the confirmation of their love and after those epis I knew Joey was still in love with Pacey... Thinking Pacey was going to Worthington...  Knowing he wasn't...  And she gave him the space he needed to find himself... Pacey: I think I...I should probably go off and live my own life for a little while. That certainly doesn't mean that this is how I want it to end between us. So hypothetically speaking... if I were lucky enough one day to find myself owning a sailboat again, and I were to ask the woman that I love to go sailing with me... would she?  Joey: You wouldn't have to ask, Pace.  That was Joey's promise that someday they would be together forever. I doubt they would have last if they stayed together after season 4, they needed to be apart and grow up. It's amazing how time got by to reunite them at the end because their love was strong and their friendship never degraded, not even after Love Bites. They always found a way to be comfortable with each other without losing the great attraction they felt. They had the whole package, love, lust, friendship and respect. | Romina, i love that!! thats what i was thinking when i said he needed to live his own life....you're right, like i was saying before---it wouldnt have lasted. they would've ended up really destroying what was left. i love it when he asks her if the woman he loved would ever consider going sailing with him again...awww and her answer....the emotion is so intense! great caps...perfect!  __________________ join the DAVID COOK campaign! Because everything in my life that I've done has led me here... right now. Pretty much the same that she said in The Te of Pacey. I think Pacey was the only one who she saw a romantic future with. I know PJ never claimed to be soulmates, but of course they were. Her heart never really left Pacey, never left that boat. I think they swept under the roof any romantic memory between them to keep up with their lives until life forced them to be in the same room again and really discuss the fact that they actually had a relationship in the past (Castaways). After that episode I was kinda convinced they were going to get their happy ending. He looks so happy after she says "she'll try", so he knew there was hope in the future like in the finale after she said she realized, he looks so happy.
