The tree has grown well over the year and looks better now. Looking forward to getting the Christmas Lights on the 15th (hopefully). On a sourer note we may be going into tier 3 next Friday, which is when I am due to get my hairdo. If it happens then the hairdresser can't come so no tidy hair for the New Year when I am going for a 3 day break with New Years eve dinner party and other events. Hope she can come before the new lock down
 but as she will be ultra busy it is doubtful. |

Sorry I wasn't on yesterday, but my internet went down.
I had my annual hair cut last month, so I'm good to go  We are in a semi-lockdown where restaurants can only do take out and we are limited to the number of people we can gather with and they issue fines for those breaking the rules. You can only have 5 people together which isn't much when you already have that many in your family bubble. __________________

It looks like your instructions are as confusing as ours.
I got in touch with my hairdresser and she says she can still work, so it looks like I can have my cut and colour after all. At the moment the worst thing is probably a no deal Brexit, which will mean chaos at the ports as normally there are hundreds of Commercial vehicles crossing into Europe every day.My internet is often going down, usually when I want to come on here. |

Got my cut and colour so at least one thing will be right for my trip away for New Year, that is if the Government don't change the rules again and cancel it!
My internet is on again off again sometimes so you can be typing merrily away then realise you aren't online when you come to post! |

Guess what? The rules have been changed again so I don't know if we will be going away for New Year or not. We are going into tier 3 and where we are going too is tier 2. Lets hope we can get our £1300 back if we can't go.

If it had been me I would have just cancelled it back in the summer when things didn't seem to be getting any better.
I feel bad for you that you may have to cancel you plans though. We decided a while ago that it was a good year to just lay low. __________________

I rang the venue and they said it was okay for us to go, so as long as they don't have to close we can go as planned. Hopefully there won't be any changes between now and the New Year.
Going to my son's for dinner tomorrow along with his girl friend's folks so don't have to cook the dinner. It will feel weird getting up on Christmas morning and not having food to prepare and cook. |
