Better sign off now as it's 1.21 in the morning and I have to get up to feed Buddy as Andy is away at a conference enjoying the lovely weather at the seaside. It hasn't stopped raining for at least 3 days over most of the country.

Thankfully we had 4 days in a row of sun. April and May were extremely rainy as was the first week of June.

Still raining here. In fact it is so bad a major show-jumping competition had to cancel spectators attending, as it is too muddy. The venue has an all weather arena so the competition can go ahead but without spectators. This will be a major blow to all the stall holders who attend these meetings and any fresh food produce may go to waste. Glastonbury which is due soon, will be a mud bath. The rain did let up for about 2 hours this afternoon (here), but has set in again probably for the night.

Well today is Father's Day and my son and his girlfriend just flew to Ottawa for a week to visit with my sister-in-law for his vacation. And my daughter is working, so we are just going to have a nice BBQ Steak Dinner ourselves.

My son and his girlfriend came round today and dropped off a box of special beers for his dad. On the other hand hubby had to go to pick son and friend at an open air pop concert yesterday and didn't get back til 1.30 in the morning due to traffic delays. After 2 hours stuck in a car park I think he earned his beers! He is busy enjoying one of them now!
