It is devastating when something so old and iconic as Notre Dame is so badly damaged. I remember when York Minster was struck by lightning and caught fire. It took years to restore.

I know and it for it to survive for over 800 years only to be brought down because of progress. It was caused due to the construction that was currently going on.

The crafts persons who worked on York Minster are offering their help and expertise on the rebuilding of Notre Dame.

It sounds like there is a a lot of support in rebuilding it.

Just watched the second episode of GOT. Lots of firsts happened especially for Arya - next week is the big battle!

I loved this episode. There were so many great moments and I've been waiting 7 seasons for them all to get back together in one place. It's about time if you ask me.

Now that Jon and Dani both know the truth there will be big repercussions for their relationship. It reminds me of when Olivia found out about Peter being from another Universe!

My favourite line was from Tyrian when he said he was looking forward to tearing Cersei to bits when he was dead.

I kind of wish they had more time to build their relationship before Jon found out who he was. Now I don't know where their relationship will go. However, their family married their siblings, so an aunt and nephew doesn't sound quite so bad after that

I made this for supper tonight. It was so delicious.

It is Bokchoy and Jalapeno stuffed Pork Loin with sauteed carrots and fried rice.

It looks great and very healthy and nutritious. We went out for a meal in town last night for our wedding anniversary. I can't believe it's 32 years! I was very silly as I ate a couple of prawn crackers before I realised what I was doing, but I think I got away with it. The last two times I ate prawns I was very sick so now prawns are definitely off the menu. I have quite a few food intolerances and seem to be adding to the list.

You got off lucky. I don't have any food issues myself, but there are some foods I won't eat just because I don't like them.

Went to a birthday party in Birmingham (England) yesterday. Didn't like the city at all. Far to busy and not very friendly. I prefer my town I call home now and my old home city. The party was great though. It was nice to see the guy looking so well after triple bypass heart surgery.

Speaking of parties. Last night was my niece's Bachelorette Party.

This is the gang. After starting the party at my house, we went to The Shore Club.

Mentioned it on another post but I thought GOT was far to dark to see the action. I think it has something to do with the Ultra definition. I would need Peter Bishop to explain it more thoroughly.
