I say do it and I'm not sure, but I heard one side of the stage is better for seeing a "certain" moment in the Play.

We are sat right in the middle of the theatre so should get a pretty good view of everything. I don't think I could go another night as our itinerary is pretty full. We both want to see different things and as we are only there for 6 days it will be a tight squeeze to fit everything in. As there is a 6 or 7 hour time difference we will be pretty shattered on the first full day and will need time to adjust, which is why I booked for the Thursday so we will have Wednesday to get acclimatised and get our bearings.

And you are going to see Frozen too which I suspect will be brilliant as well. Two totally different Plays, but probably both very enjoyable. I am excited for you to see and possibly meet Josh though. That will be amazing.

I can't believe it is less than 2 months that I will be going to NYC. I keep an eye on the exchange rates so to get the best deal on currency so we will have plenty of spending money. Our air fares, accommodation and taxi fares to and from the airport are already paid for but food isn't included, so we will have to budget for that. I'm really looking forward to seeing Frozen too, and will probably wait to get our playbills signed there as well. It will depend on how long we have to wait on Thursday night whether we can be bothered to wait on Friday night too.

Where will you be staying when you're in NYC and how far is it from Studio 54?

We're a few blocks away staying at the Element By Westin Times Square. It will probably take about 20 mins to walk there but we will give ourselves plenty of time.

I was looking online and it looks like a very modern styled Hotel and it's 4 but it says it's 6 Miles from Broadway, so that 20 minutes is a 20 Minute Drive or is Studio 54 closer than Broadway?

I looked at a map and it is on West 39th street between 8th and 9th avenue.

Studio 54 is 254 West 54th Street New York, NY.

Were you looking at the right hotel? We are near to Times Square.
6 miles in Manhatten would take about 6 hours on a bus as it is always totally gridlocked, hence people walk or take the subway. We have a whole day to figure out how to get there and I'm sure the concierge will advise us on the best way to travel.

I looked at the Times Square Element at Westin West, but maybe I should have searched Studio 4
54 instead of just Broadway.

Broadway is a long road as are all the avenues, which is why the cross streets are important in the NYC addresses. As I said we will ask the concierge of the hotel which is the best way to get there, and how long it will take. We may head there early and get a meal before the show at a nearby bar/restaurant. Last time we went to NYC we had a nightmare run through Times Square to the theatre as my husband didn't read the tickets properly for one of the shows and thought it started later than it did. We won't be doing that again!

I probably should have narrowed my search I guess.

Manhattan is huge and very busy day and night so it does take quite a while to get between places. We are taking the first day to get our bearings so we know exactly how to get to the theatres where the shows are on. We're hoping to visit Brooklyn one day which will be a whole new adventure!
