I couldn't finish reading your post. I stopped when you said horses get hurt. Sorry.

Are the archived forums on this site ones where no one continues to post so they were moved?

Yes, they are Boards that got closed for whatever reason (ie. low post counts, no Moderators, etc).

Speaking of closed Boards. At one point each of the DC group each had their own Board, but Josh's is the only one to survive after all these years. Not only does he have his own Board, but Dawson's Creek has a Board and Fringe has a Board. I think that's saying a lot.

That's interesting. There a lot of high profile actors and musicians and what not in the archived forums. Maybe fans have another place to chat about their fave celebs...although as far as the Dawson Creek crew I don't really see that being the case. Well, except for Michelle.

And it's also interesting because Josh isn't even that active on social media. If he were we'd have even more to talk about.

I think it's great that fans are still talking about Dawson's Creek and Fringe after all this time. Even a hugely popular show like Gossip Girl was archived.

Well it is only right that the DC Board stay active because DC is the reason even exists.

Wow, really? I had no idea.

I forget which thread it was mentioned in but we were talking about how Josh clearly is thankful for Dawson's Creek and is always willing to discuss it. I mention this because I just saw a recent JVDB interview and I was literally cringing because it was evident he didn't want to talk about the show that made him famous.

I think I saw that interview. It was described as awkward.

I don't think any horses were hurt at the races, but it was a hot day and so the winners were taken to cool off before being brought to the winners enclosure. Ambulances for people and horses follow all the races round the track so are on hand immediately if anyone is hurt. That doesn't happen at most horse shows or even cross country events so racing horses are very well looked after. Sorry to interrupt the DC/JVDB discussion. I'm not surprised he doesn't want to talk about DC as he didn't end up with the girl! I liked the CSI show about cyber crime he was in, but it seems to have fallen by the wayside now.

I like James, but to be honest, I didn't find his acting very good in CSI Cyber.

I agree he was a bit (dare I say) wooden? in that but I did like the series. Mainly for the stories and the other characters though.

I liked the series too, but I don't think it quite lived up to it's potential even though I love Patricia Arquette.

Thanks for the Easter greetings!

I have just started to watch MacGyver and quite enjoy it. Did there used to be an old series in the seventies? The name sounds familiar.

Yes there was a MacGyver show and this is the remake of it. The original starred Richard Dean Anderson and ran from 1985-1992.

A fun fact on the topic of the original MacGyver - Josh was an extra on the show as 4 seasons were filmed in British Columbia.

I think I watched the original but I was out socialising a lot in the 80s so missed a lot of shows. I maybe saw Josh and never even knew he was there!

Going to bed now as hubby is tucked up and I don't like disturbing him. He grunts and sighs a lot when I stay on the computer too long!
