Lets hope so. I think I cooked it for too long but I won't know until I cut into it. The brandy should help to make it moist anyway.

I didn't when I was working, but now have spare time and prefer home made to shop bought - even though it probably costs twice as much.

Homemade is definitely better. I made Peanut Butter Balls yesterday. I got 40 balls out of it and they are pretty good too.

Will be putting the finishing touches to the cake tomorrow. I was at a do last night and am still feeling a bit tired today. My son is full of cold and feeling lousy so is staying with us tonight. I hope I'm not getting it as I was sneezing a lot earlier.

My daughter came home Friday night and just went to work from here, so it was nice having her here. She went back home tonight but will be back Friday as it is our annual Wing Night at the 5 O'clock Bar and she'll stay down until Boxing Day.

Hope you all have some great family time. My son is coming to stay over the Christmas weekend hopefully Sunday Monday and Tuesday and him and his dad are going to see a football match on 27th and the 30th so I will have a bit of me time on those days. We are going to see family on the 28th but Dave is working so can't come.

I felt all right all day but now am sneezing and feeling a bit rough. Maybe an early night is in order.

I had some last minute shopping to do, so spent the afternoon in Town and didn't get home until 7:00. I was so glad I had the hindsight to prepare supper before I left, so hubby just had to turn the oven on low to warm it up and I fried the rice when I got home. Then I wrapped what I brought home. Now just chillaxin' in bed with the laptop on my lap and snacking on Perrier water and Bugle chips.

OMG, I just discovered something new on my laptop. I accidentally clicked on the built in mouse and it gave me the option "Read Aloud", so I tested it and a guys voice came on and read what I just posted. That is so freaking cool. Too bad it wasn't Josh's voice though.

Well it depends what you have written and how private you want to keep it! Josh's voice would be great but a computer voice like Stephen Hawking's could be so cool, especially reading the gutter items.
