Yes! I have a very strong willed Bengal cat who tries to boss us all about and takes his temper out on me just like a recalcitrant toddler blames his mum for everything! He can be very loving and loves to sit beside me on the couch but also pushes me off when I have warmed the seat up for him! My son always comes to stay when we go away so he is never left alone for long. Next year when my son and I visit NYC my husband is staying at home, as he doesn't want to see the play and has already been to NY, so isn't really interested in sightseeing.

I think he knows it. Unfortunately I can't let him out so we have an area of the patio fenced off where he can at least go outside without fear of him wandering.

Sorry I can't type much as I have damaged my wrist. It has a long medical name but the doctor says it will take about 2 months for it to get better and to use anti inflammatory gel to help it heal. It is very painful and swollen and involves inflammation of the sheath that carries the main tendon to the wrist bone. Basically I just have to put up with it til it gets better by itself!

I got that turquoise throw last time I was in Newcastle especially for Buddy as I know he loves plush things, and he does love it. Hubby was out most of the day at a retired Trade Union members meeting so me and Bud spent the day on the sofa as housework is impossible at the moment, except in a supervisory role, which hubby loves. Luckily it is the right wrist that is affected and as I am a leftie it isn't as bad as it could have been, but it is amazing how much you need both hands, which you don't realise until one is out of action.

Yeah it was a great concert. My wrist is a lot better now, and I even managed to go to Tai Chi today. I think the gentle exercise movement really helped. Another factor is that I stopped using the topical anti inflammatory gel which I think I suffered an allergic reaction to, as the swelling has gone right down since I stopped using it. Sometimes the cure is worse than the cause

That can be so true, especially when you see what they put in some of those cures. I try to stay away from all of it. I have sensitive skin and almost anything will cause me to break out.

The trouble is the doctor recommended the gel and said it was the only thing that would help! Luckily it has improved so much that I can pretty much do everything most of the time and only have minimal pain. The pain comes and goes (which I was told would happen) and so I take over the counter pain relief when I need it.

My wrist is almost better - just the odd twinge now which is just as well as I made the Christmas cake today! It has to rest for a few weeks then it can be iced. Every other day or so it can have a basting of brandy which keeps it moist and very tasty! Buddy came to help but soon got sick of the weird smells and noises of beating and grating, so went to his hidey hole upstairs for a snooze.

Well after being without an upstairs toilet for a month, the new one was installed today. We are doing an entire bathroom make over. Boarded in the window in the tub area and put in a stand up shower, new floor, new toilet, new vanity, a paint job. We are near completion and I can't wait.
