I'm not sure where we are up to with Castle over here, as it is shown on one of the Freeview channels which are sometimes well behind the US showings. On the other hand Bull, Michael Weatherly's new series is fairly recent.

Meanwhile I have been binge watching Good Behaviour the latest Michelle Dockery show to hit our screens. Lady Mary (Downton Abbey) she ain't!

Well that will take a while! I've been dipping in and out of Bones for years now and every time I watch it the characters seem to have changed circumstances.

Edit: I'm going away for a couple of days to a retirement party so can only keep in touch by phone, so won't be able to update the hangman quote. I will be back Saturday afternoon.

I'm actually on Season 9 right now and started watching this summer, so I'm getting through it fairly quickly.

You may be done by Christmas. Going away later on today - just popped in for a few minutes.

Well we have some renos to do. The upstairs toilet started leaking through the floor and into the kitchen and upon inspection, we realize that we now need a new one. I want to replace the floor and put in a stand up shower and new sink/cabinet. Basically the whole thing.

I have a guy coming in tomorrow to give us a quote. I'm a little scared to hear how much it's going to cost.

Sorry to hear about your loo trouble. Where's Cole and his toolbox when you need him! Joking aside, plumbing can be expensive, as we know. My bathroom was totally renovated a few years ago and we were without proper facilities for about a month. Since then we have had the toilet cistern changed, and now really need a new shower attachment to the main taps. Luckily the main storm shower is still good but the shower screen leaks if not reinforced with a load of Vaseline! Get good quality stuff, it will save you in the long run.

I'm hoping to at least go middle of the road stuff because we don't really have a huge budget and bathrooms can range anywhere from $5000-$15,000. Of course my budget is on the lower scale.

The guy never showed up, but he didn't actually promise, just that he's give me a call and I know him quite well, so I'll just call him tomorrow maybe.

On other news, I bought a new (to me) Van today. It's the same kind that I have, but only 32,500Km on it and mine has 164,000, so that's good.

Great about the new wheels. On the bathroom front you can always buy sale items - most companies have stock on special offer to make room for their new stock. We bought ours from the company my son used to work for but the quality isn't great. We got a staff discount but looking at it now I wish we had gone for better quality rather than style.

Have to go now as it is after 12.30 at night and hubby is trying to get some sleep. Even he has to make a few sacrifices to keep the board going. Will try to get on in the morning and maybe find some pics to post.

We decided the keep the 2011 Van so my daughter could have a vehicle to drive, but it's going to cost $2000+ extra in insurance. That is scary, but the young people have to start somewhere.

I know and now my daughter is stressing out because of the cost of Insurance and she's worried about the expense of gas, so right now the van is sitting in her parking lot, not being used and not insured.

It's all part of growing up and realising that money doesn't stretch as far as you want it to. The trouble with moving out is they can't be on your insurance anymore as an extra driver.
