That sounds amazing. I've seen the Northern Lights a couple of times. We actually had them here a few years ago. They were beautiful.

As well as hoping to see the Northern Lights we are hoping to go to a nature reserve where you can meet the wild life, mainly wolves. Also I am hoping for a ride on a reindeer sleigh or husky sled. These things are optional excursions which can be arranged by the cruise company.
We've just had a nice break in Keswick where we went for a short walk yesterday while the weather was good. It was very pretty around the lake with the snow on the hills in the background. Today it snowed and rained so we went checking out the shops for cold weather garments which I could wear next year in the Arctic but most things didn't quite reach my size so I will have to shed a few more pounds before shopping. I have a year to achieve this so it isn't impossible! |

I'm not up on the best places to visit while in Vancouver, but if I were to visit there I would be interested in where all the TV shows and movies are filmed. Vancouver is considered to be Canada's Hollywood in a way. In Banff, you can check out the Glacier Skywalk and Lake Louise is breathtaking. I think the best place to check out in Quebec is Old Quebec in Quebec City and depending on what time of year you go, there are outside cafes and small shops and vendors along the streets which are not open to vehicles. It is quite lovely. If you are religious then I recommend checking out Sainte Anne de Beaupre Church which is about 30 minutes outside the city. I remember they had a 360 degree room with the the last walk of Christ and it was quite something to see. The Church itself has been credited by the Catholic Church with many miracles of curing the sick and disabled and I remember they had dozens of crutches hanging on the walls from people who went there with crutches and left without them. Niagara on the Lake is nice and is known for it's 19th Century buildings. It is only a 25 minute drive from Niagara Falls which are a must see. I've got nothing for you regarding Montreal, Toronto or Newfoundland. You are totally missing the Maritime Provinces which is where I live. What time of year are you going? __________________

I have a question for you. I have a bunch of Twilight magazines that I bought when the movies came out and I was wondering if that is something any of your Board members would be interested in. __________________

I went to a wrestling show yesterday organised by my son's friend. It was great fun especially as one of the wrestlers dressed as a pirate and sang SpongeBob Squarepants. They put on a show similar to the WWE shows, which the kids love.
