Well as Janet mentioned before, she emailed me at work with the pictures of Josh mourning the loss of his bike...AND NOTHING ELSE! No explanation at all. I just knew those were paparazzi pics and I was so worried about him. I was SO relieved to find out they were new set pics.

This is my first visit to this thread. I've been trying to stay away. I don't know if I'm gonna be able to watch this one or not. My dad is currently battling cancer and undergoing chemo treatments. I can see him getting slowly worse...losing weight, looking older, getting more depressed. Of course he has days when I see the man I remember as my daddy, but those are becoming fewer and fewer. Maybe I will try to watch this movie and just picture Josh naked in all the scenes. That should help, wouldn't you think???

I held my sister-in-laws hand through it all...and she fought hard...but then she was ready mentally and she just let go!!

I think this is the story Josh's movie will be telling...the mental and spiritual journey of what it is to get that type of news...and what we as humans deem important...or better yet...should deem as important!

Ohhh most definitely....we all keep each other amused around here....

I'm really thinking that they may be going for more of an uplifting spirit in this movie...then sad.

I really hope so Kate. I could definitely see Josh pulling off that theme. Uplifting spirit, finding the meaning in life...it seems to be what he does best in his roles.

Every role he plays is a slice of life....He always seems to be searching for meaning...I think his own deep thoughts keep him finding these unique identifiable parts!!

I hadn't actually thought about his "beach reading" being possible research for this role, but it very well could have been. I am curious now to find out if there is some bargaining that occurs between Josh's character & God in this movie.

Oh, I'm sure there will be. Thats what the whole thing is probably about. I'll be prepaired for it though. Hey, the more tears in a movie the better it is in my book!!
I hope like in Americano, it will really get me thinking about my life and my choices that I've made. I just hope I don't build up this movie in my head and am disappointed. **keeps fingers crossed***

Amy -

This really is a story that alot of people will be able to relate to on some level. I lost my grandad to cancer and also my husbands father, who died 4 months before our wedding.
The flip side of the coin is that I know a whole bunch of cancer survivors too.

I know it's rough, but hang in there, Amy - and don't try to go through this time by yourself. Reach out to others when it just gets to be too much - everyone needs a place to vent and a shoulder to cry on when things get tough...

Excellent! Thank you so much for brining that by. If I was in Canada, I'm sure I'd be a little more up on these shows.

But it was a pretty long interview, no? He covered a lot of bases and I'm surprised he acknowledged his relationship and sorta discussed the topic a bit.

As for poor Ali Larter, sheesh. What is wrong with people? I remember hearing rumors of people back in the day on these boards that apparently did simiular things to Josh. *sigh* Thank God I didn't run into any of those people when I visited North Carolina my one and only visit. I would have seriously chewed them out! (Or called the police on them if I had any clue where Josh had lived and caught them in the act.
