can I come over here and rant about DJ'er's. They really watch a different show than us. I am so sick of hearing about how magical Dawson and Joey are. They did nothing to prove it to me with all the times Joey couldn't wait to get a way from Dawson and all his manipulations. I hate the word soulmates too. The word is so overrated. I looked it up in a dictionary and it is about two people having the same point of view, disposition, or sensitivity. Nothing about romance. Now, there is a new Katie article that everyone is discussing.

Hello there to all the P/Jo lovers... I consider myself to belong here. Hope you don't mind.
I live in Belgium and have been following DC as much as possible, but missed out on quite some stuff...
I have season 1 on DVD and sure hope that they'll still produce all the other seasons, coz I'm so addicted to it.

I'm totally bewilderd by Pacey. In most movies and series, I fall for the guy that is the SUCKER at the beginning (the way he's always the black sheep and can't do anything good in anyone's eyes, and thus thinks of himself that way too). Those "suckers" as I call them are the most interesting characters coz they always undergo major change and come out SO GOOD in the end.

In the beginning I loved what was happening between D and Jo. I liked Pacey being with Andy too. I thought they were a cute couple, but as soon as P and Jo got together, I was like: "aaah, this is HOME, ya know" [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]
Everytime I saw those two together, I felt the butterflies in my stomach. You can SO feel the chemistry between both and you just KNOW they're meant to be together, no matter what everybody thinks or how situations turn.

And as I read through this topic, I found myself smiling all over again, looking at the pix, reading the transcripts. It just makes me wanna see everything all over again.

I can't really say what my favorite P/Jo moment is though. I don't think I've seen them all, and they are all intreaguing to me. [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

The thing that I appreciated so much between the both of them is the fact that they were always so honest to one another. They had a GROWN relationship.
With D/Jo, I always had the impression they could not grow, they were holding themselves back, afraid that they might drift apart. But that's not what love is all about, is it??
It's about being able to be together and still have a life to live, besides 'being a couple'.

I have always been of the principle that you have to encourage people to do things they'd like to do. I do that with my friends all the time. I drive them to do things they never thought they'd do and it is very rewarding. I can't stand it when someone says "I'm not good enough for that".
Recently, I helped a friend of mine who didn't put himself in the best spotlight, and he finally decided to go for it, to try it out... One moment my mum was looking at me with this funny face. I asked her what was the matter and she goes:"I don't know where you get it from, but it's admirable how you always help people that way. It's amazing".

That kinda surprised me, but she is right though. I really DO that. It's what drives me.

My mum is also totally hooked on DC. lol. I did that to her. And I do believe she has a preference for P/Jo too. hehe.
