| How gutted am I??!! I finish work tomorrow for 2 whole weeks, in which I have very little planned. Mr Suzi finds out today that he has to go on a business trip to Nashville in April. Hoorah me thinks, I'll go with him and have me some Southern fun and maybe try and meet Amy. Guess when in April he's going?? Thats right, 2 days after I get back to work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  The same is happening in May, I have a week off at the end of May and he's got a course in Lisbon the week before. | Oh!!! So close!!! Damn, if you where going to be going to Nashville, I think I'd have to risk divorce and meet you guys there!! Then we could plan our departure at the same time and schedule a long layover in Atlanta and meet up the the "Ten" like I did last time. But my 3 hour lay over ended up being an hour and a half. | Oh you gotta come with him Suzi!!! Stop and pick up Janet, and we'll party in Atlanta. Now who do we know in Atlanta that we could crash with?  Oh well, I'm sure we could come up with something. Update from TN...the house is getting closer and closer every day. As J already knows, we've had a pretty big setback this week. Our contractor got a bit selfish and shot himself Sunday. As he is no longer with us (God rest his soul), we are having to pick up some slack if we want this thing to get done. I don't mean to sound crass (that's with a c not a K, Janet). I cried like a freakin' baby at the funeral today. But I just didn't really need the extra stress. I'll post pics as soon as I have a little more time. After we get in, one of my first purchases is going to be a new PC with wireless internet access!!! YIPPEEE!!! It looks like tomorrow is Merica's due date perhaps? I wonder how she's doing... | Wow, Disney World, you guys are going to love it. Its so much fun no matter how old or young you are. Amy - I can't believe you contractor shot himself, he could've got the place finished first. Seriously though, its horrible to think that a person feels their only relief from their problems is to take their own life.  I finally finished work yesterday for our 'spring break'. A bunch of us celebrated by hitting the pub at 2pm. I got home last night at 11.30pm.  Needless to say my head was a little sore when I got up this morning!!There is no way I'm going to be able to go to Nashville with H. I'll never be able to get the time out of work. | That thought crosses my mind frequently. Think I'll just wait for the pitter patter of tiny feet instead, at least then I'll get paid for not being at work!! | It certainly is, I went to the coast with my mum yesterday and it was a beautiful spring day, today has been sooooo cold and tomorrow is forecast heavy rain! Missed my chance of meeting George Clooney on Tuesday. Premieres are usually on a Weds or Thurs in Leicester Square but no, this one was on a Tuesday and I just sat round the house all day. JKras wasn't there Janet.Watched Americano for the first time on Tuesday too. Wasn't overly impressed as Janet will tell you. |  It will grow on you, I swear. I absolutly hated it when I first saw it too.I just discovered a band I knew nothing about. Amy was shocked that I'd never heard them. I've been listening to their first album for two days straight. The are called Nickel Creek and it's bluegrassy and it's awesome!! Here I gave you a link to a concert clip... | I can't bear to put it back in the dvd player though. I'm thinking of using it as a coaster!!!  Will check out Nickel Creek later when the hubby isn't on a conference call. By the name they sound more like the kind of group he would like anyway!! Has anyone out there heard of Duffy? She's a welsh singer, very in the style of Dusty Springfield, she's excellent.
