Our rain and snow turned into flooding and landslides.

Our poor brand new library....

No this isn't me...But luckily we didn't get the house we made an offer on, on this street!

I think the bad weather is done for now. We have sun forcasted for this weekend, I don't think I've ever been so excited! Maybe the 3-5 inches of water in my barn will finally dry out!

That poor woman, I wonder if she is stuck on the side that her house is on or the other side??? Either way its bad news.

Its 3.30am here and I've woken up coughing for the fourth night in a row. I'm sick of feeling crappy. Anyway, when I get up in the middle of the night I expect you lot to be here for me, where are you????

^ Where was I? Trying to get my kids to sleep! They're still messed up from late nights and sleeping in over the holidays.

Things were better two nights ago: I shut everything down at 9 pm -- lights, TV, and even pretended to be asleep. But last night they were wired, man.

Really? My kids are exhausted now that school has started. They are out like a light at least 5 minutes after their heads hit the pillow. It's wonderful.

I can get to sleep no problem but if something wakes me up in the night I start to cough and thats it!! I was up for 2 hours 15 minutes this morning. Needless to say I didn't go to work today, I sat on the couch (when I eventually woke up at gone 11am) and watched Garden State and then Stardust on dvd (again!!)

Well, I've got two pre-teen boys with inderminate amounts of hormones raging through them, so they're shifting into that can't-sleep-gotta-stay-up mode. And they just keep my daughter awake. Plus, we don't have all that snow to trudge through, which is exhausting in itself. Whew! Now I'm starting to get tired.

Oh, I hope you feel better soon, Suzi. Or, maybe I don't wish that on you. You'll just have to face those nasty ankle-biters again. Just stay home and watch movies! And what'd you think of "Garden State"? I really didn't like it. Thought it was terribly boring -- or maybe it's just my distaste for Zach Braff.

Did anybody get to see "Australia" over the holidays? I'm curious to see it.

What? I liked Garden State. I always end up watching it if I find it while flipping channels.

I quite enjoyed it too. Nothing much happens but its quite heart warming. I found myself fancying ZB more and more as the film progressed. Stardust is a wonderful movie, I might watch it again tomorrow if I don't make it to work. Have any of you seen it?

Haven't made it to the cinema to see 'Australia' yet. I love Baz Luhrmann films but have a feeling that I'll be hugely disappointed with this offering. Maybe we should go together Donna? If only we had a Babylon candle!!!

I'm in the dark on all of these movies. Haven't seen one of them. I'm hoping to take the girls to see Bedtime Stories soon. They both got movie bucks in their stockings. Have any of you mommies seen it yet?

Nope, is that the Adam Sandler film? I'm not keen on him. I think you and your girls would love Stardust.

Its snowing here!!!! Only a little but it still looks lovely. I'm going to the football today, its going to be cold! I thought about not going but the ticket cost £30 ($55ish) which is too expensive to waste.

Hey! I had to look up Babylon candle to figure out what you were talking about. Now, if you'd said Floo Powder, I'd have understood!

I don't really care if Australia is good or not. I just want to see Hugh Jackman all dirty and rough & ready. Yum. Oh, and Nicole Kidman is fun too. Love some Baz Luhrmann films like Moulin Rouge. Couldn't fathom Simply Ballroom, tho.

I loved Strictly Ballroom, the first time I watched it I was a bit like 'WTF' but it grew on me. Obviously Moulin Rouge is my fave but I also l Romeo and Juliet.

Got myself all wrapped up yesterday, paid out £3.50 for a train ticket, suffered on a rail replacement bus service, crammed myself in the busiest pub in West London all for the match to get called off an hour and a half before kick off!!!

Oh, Suzi. I just got some bad news about your new TV-love-show.

Prison Break has been cancelled. The final four episodes will air (at least here) starting April 17. So, so sorry.

I'm actually quite pleased, this season was not great and another season would've been like flogging the proverbial dead horse!

Now you have posted I can post my big news - I'm going to become an auntie in July. The big sis is pregnant and had her 12 week scan yesterday, all is well.
