| Obsessed Fan   | Wishing everyone and all a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!    Hubby has taken his dad and our boys to a New Year's Eve college football game (Ga Tech v. LSU), so my daughter and I have the day (and night!) to ourselves! We're baking cookies and going to the movies, and may just have some cider to ring in 2009. | im being lame again this year. i was invited to 2 different parties and im just plain too tired to go. plus its really cold here today. the high is only like 15 right now and tonight it's supposed to get really cold and it just makes me wanna crawl on the couch with a blanket and pop in something josh related and eat pizza. as a matter of fact, that will probably be my plan tonight.  __________________ "Oh I see. | My girls and I hung out after church, ate and played some games. We left there around 11:30 and came home to watch the ball drop in NYC. Crashed shortly thereafter. | Obsessed Fan | It was a real kid's night for me and my 6-year old. Took her to see "Bolt" (VERY cute) and then we stopped by Blockbuster and rented a couple of movies. Also bought "Shutter" and "The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything" as part of their 3-for-$20 deal. Psyched to find the unrated version of Shutter for 6 bucks and... who doesn't love VeggieTales? Anyway, counted down the New Year with my little sweetness -- so cute -- she didn't even know she was supposed to shout "Happy New Year" after the last number. But she was SO excited during the countdown. Then the hubby and the boys got home soon thereafter. GT lost badly.  Nice, good family stuff. | Me and the hubby went round to our friends house for a NYE dinner party. There was 8 of us in total (the 6 kids were already in bed when we arrived) and we drank cocktails and champagne, ate a wonderful 3 course meal, saw in the New Year with more champagne and party poppers, played some party games and then everyone crashed out. On New Years Day we had a huge fry up and took the kids to the park. It was a great laugh. | Felt as sick as a pig for a good few hours yesterday, some lemonade and cookies after 2 hours of sleep perked me up no end though and I was back on the beers by 8pm!!!! (No, I'm not pregnant, hence the beers). I just think the excesses of Christmas plus running round after a sick husband caught up with me and my body said 'STOP' Thats some freak weather you've been having my little Oregon Orange. Its sunshine all the way here but it is freezing, the temp hasn't got much above freezing for about a week now.
