Just watched a trailer for His Dark Materials - looks like Ruth is maybe 'not very nice' in it. I haven't read the books so don't know who is who but it will be interesting to see. The BBC has something to do with the show so hopefully it will be on terrestrial TV when released this autumn. I got the first book for my nephew at Christmas but don't know if he enjoyed it or not. It was on BBC twitter account so should be available to all you tweeters.
