Bringing this over from the last Thread in case we want to continue the conversation.

I love that pic and even though it's a quick scene, Joey can't keep her hands off of Pacey. It's so obvious and cute and she's not as handsy with anyone else throughout the series.

Thanks for that review of Love Bites. I think pretty much says what all PJo fans feel.

I think you might be right and if I had to take a guess, I would have chosen FTT as well. I don't think she would admit it even to herself, but there is definitely some affection in her feelings. You can see it in her face a few times in that episode.

thanks. I like how the reviewer feels like she was regretting her decision when she saw Joey hugging Eddie. Joey doesn't react like that when she's hugging someone unless she is lying about something. She usually closes her eyes. She did not close her eyes, she didn't smile, or have that intensity with her eyes closed. She put on an act when she gets there and looks happy, but then it's obvious she is full of it when they hug

good point. I noticed how she wanted an excuse to be around Pacey. There is no way she would take dance lessons with him if she had no interest in him. She had to know there was going to be some form of body contact. They were ballroom dancing. Dawson questions her and says, "Why did you ask Pacey?" She could have asked him to help around the B and B in exchange for helping him with Math. She looks relieved when she goes to get her coat and looks around and doesn't see Jen there. When Dawson is talking to her, he says sometimes you just want to have someone at the end of your reach at the end of the day no matter how wrong the feelings are. When Joey and Pacey are walking out at the end, she grabs his hand. Pacey says, "You did overreact, didn't you." It went back to "You can't keep doing this to me." he would notice her reactions

agree. Jen notices and it was in the desktops. I thought it was at Thanksgiving. She just looks so blushy when she's telling Andie that Pacey has his moments after she calls him a doofus

You brought up a good point that I never thought of before about FTT.

When Joey goes back for her coat and sees Pacey sitting in the Ballroom, she looks around - I never thought that she was possibly looking to see if Jen was there, but that is a great point.

And I love it too when she grabs him by the hand and drags him out. It's so cute.

thanks JJH85. I noticed a lot when watching. I remember some people said they didn't see Joey's feelings for Pacey until after they kissed, but I noticed it a lot. After kissing Aj, Pacey was on her mind. She didn't have to go to his afterparty. She told him she probably wouldn't make it until the next night. When AJ shows up at the afterparty, she looks kind of disappointed. She acts nervous when they are practicing the play and it gets to the lovey dovey stuff. She wouldn't have been affected if she didn't have feelings for him. She even looks back at him when AJ picks her up

also, in FTT, Joey says to Pacey that only triangle consists of him, her, and Dawson

True, it was her saying I like you too Pacey and I liked how shy they both were during that scene.

I feel like it was more gradual than one particular moment. Joey never hated Pacey as much as she said. It took both of them some time to realize it fully, I think there were steps along the way to the realization like FTT, but even then, it wasn't THE moment so much as the slow awakening.

so true JJH85. He looks like such a nervous wreck walking towards her door. The previews made it look like he was going to tell her that he had feelings for her. I am glad the writers waited because I liked the buildup over the next few episodes too. He's like. "You care about me." which was another one of those times that goes back to you can't keep doing this to me. He's like she never cared before when he was mean, so he had it in the back of his mind that maybe she had feelings for him

good point Sandy K. If she really hated him, she would never have let him drive her to see her father. That was a long trip. When she was drunk, she said she doesn't say it enough, but he's a terrific friend

I think the early annoyance with them is there, but it doesn't necessarily mean that they hated each other. Like when Pacey says in S4 "you always tease the ones you love". It's his way of admitting that he always liked her.

OMG, those moments did bring us back to when Pacey and Joey were `15, except they weren't dating then whereas Patrick and Harley were kind of.

Aside from the obvious (PJo being together), the thing I liked most about this scene is when Pacey asks "when did we become those people" referring to the type that go to things like Raves. It brings us back to the earlier seasons when they were a group of kids that were out of the norm and I liked that about them.
