Working on what? And work has never kept him from big Diane events before, JWu wedding would be at the top of her list. He's always flown in and out quickly to events if he had to.

Anyway, just my feeling, I think it was odd.

Well we will just have to be patient - as if we ever are! It will all come out in the wash so to speak, Everything comes out eventually! If Josh is working on another project or just finishing off his documentary (voiceovers etc) we will find out eventually.

Or they may just spring it on us like his cameo in Kimmy Schmidt. That was kept quiet right until it's release, even IMDB didn't have it listed until it was released.

I do remember that, it showed up around the time The Affair was originally announced. I remember being so excited that Josh was going to be in two upcoming projects.

Well lets hope next time it's real. I don't think Josh will make a new movie in the near future unless it only involves a few days shooting as he will be in rehearsals for The Affair soon, and I'm sure he will want to take some time off before then..

I don't foresee any movie roles coming anytime soon either with The Affair about to start filming.

It depends on when they will officially start filming season 3. Sarah Treem didn't announce a date yet, so it's possible that they will start filming later.
Josh may be involved in another project before he comes back on set for The Affair.
Like you said, if josh didn't say anything about his last guest appearance it's possible that he is involved in another project but there are no official news yet

We can only dream. He's been pretty busy this year so far. I do predict that they will start filming The Affair in June though.
