Thanks for doing the two new threads. I will work on the Josh and Diane thread tonight, when I have the hungry men fed. They both come in for food at different times so most of my day today and half the night, was taken up with either shopping for food, preparing food or serving it up. Husband will be home from the gym soon for his meal.

I also went to the local Electrical superstore and bought a new tv, to be delivered next Thursday. Tomorrow should be a bit quieter and hubby has finished work at the end of tomorrow as the permanent guy is back on Monday, so I have the use of the car next week.

I wasn't on today as I wasn't feeling well, but I'm fine now. Then I had to take my son to work again tonight and spent the evening with my daughter until my son was finished. I can't wait until he gets his license, so I don't have to do this every week.

I just made a fairly big purchase myself. I had to buy a new Dishwasher, it should arrive tomorrow.

Thanks. I was in bed until about 3:00 in the afternoon. I don't remember the last time I did that.

I need a new dishwasher too. The one we have still works but all the plastic bits have broken or keep falling apart. It struggles on under the weight of all our washing up - usually has 2 or 3 loads after the main meal, as it is small due to limited space in the kitchen.

It's in, so now just have to get it installed. Thankfully hubby knows how to do that.

My hubby isn't allowed to touch any installations in our house since he broke the computer desk while putting it together - luckily the shop gave us the spare part which he broke. We usually pay for installation as it works out cheaper and less stressful in the long run.

I hope you have lots of great times and fun with the washing up! Even the kids can wash up when there is a machine to do it for them.

I haven't been without a dishwasher since I was a little kid, so I don't consider it a luxury and still consider doing dishes a big chore and one I really don't enjoy.

On the Fringe

I don't think white wine and Swedish fish counts as a nutritious dinner... Go Halloween!

Well I had a Donair and then snacked on a Treat Bag left over from Halloween. All round a very unhealthy day and then add in the 3 beer I had...

We have just got back from a kids party so trifle and cake was on the menu. We also had a medley of fish, roast potatoes and veg so it wasn't too bad. We also have a lot of sweets and chocolate left over from Halloween - no trick or treaters dropped by - maybe they think I am the wicked witch of the West - have they not seen Wicked? She was not bad at all!

On the Fringe

Can't decide if I had a candy or wine hangover this morning, but I've been moving very very slowly all day. Not doing that combo again!
