I miss the scruff more than the beard - he just doesn't look like Josh anymore I am always use to some kind of facial hair

The new look is obviously for the play. I hope the beard or scruff is back for The Affair in May or June when they should resume filming.

I suspect once the Play is over, he'll go back to the scruff.

Speaking of Josh's play, i hope it will be succesfull and his talent will be recognized in theatre too. It would be great if he was a Tony nominee or even he won the Tony Award. I have read that they usually announce the nominations in May and the winner in June, every year. That would be a big opportunity for him!
So.....fingers crossed

That would be awesome for him to get recognized for his work outside of television.

I'd be happy with just about any extra exposure.

I don't know whether off Broadway plays get Tony recognition, but usually get recognition in the business and lead to other things.
