I checked out the twitter pictures which left me puzzled. Are these photos from the pilot shoot or are they currently filming in Los Angeles? I ask this because I know the weather on the East Coast is not summery at the moment as those photos depict.

They were pictures from the pilot. I hope someone will post pictures with Josh and Ruth in Long Island

If they are shooting in NYC, they must be awfully cold. Lol. I think they shot some of the park scenes in Fringe Season 5 during the Vancouver winter season? In tshirts.

I never understood that -- there was fan video for the opening park scenes for Season 5 from September 2012, I think. Why didn't they just shoot the final scenes then? There were some stills of Josh wearing shorts and Uggs as they wrapped up shooting, so maybe they really didn't want anyone to leak the ending!


Yes, those are the only two official pictures we've seen from last September's pilot for The Affair. Waiting, waiting, waiting for the shirtless surfer Josh pictures to emerge!

I think the fan twitter is an Italian fan based (again!!) twitter feed. Same for the FB page.

I'm hoping they do something official, too.

You can tell the weather is actually warm because the crew are not wearing jackets, so they are either from the Aug/Sept timeframe of the Pilot or they have done some filming in LA which I believe was rumoured at one point.

Yeah. The crew's attire and the green trees led me to believe that it was from the pilot or that they were possibly shooting in LA. It would be nice for Josh if they could do the bulk of the filming in LA and some exterior shots now and again in NY.
