The Earl Crest/LSSOM Appreciation Thread
Ah, Earl Crest is SO very much appreciated.
This is one lovable character: dependable, full of integrity and darned sexy. You just don't see his kind on the big screen anymore. Well, we didn't with this movie either because it went straight to DVD, but never you mind that. This movie is worth having in everyone's home collection. Earl is in love with his girlfriend, Baby, and will do anything for her, including fearlessly saving her dim-witted cousin from himself, getting shot by a nasty dip-chewing ex-con, trying to resolve a mix-up between drug lords, all just days before he takes her to Hollywood to help her realize her dream of becoming a soap opera actress. Sound crazy? You bet it is. And it's nothing short of hilarious! Directed by David Semel, a former producer on Dawson's Creek, it was very obvious he wanted to work with Josh. Thank you David and thank you Josh for giving us Earl. We can never get enough of Earl! So let's hear from all of you about this treasure of a movie and its leading man.     __________________

This movie is one of the ones I watch all the time. Josh is the "lone" beacon of intelligence in an otherwise dimwitted town. He is sexy and funny, you have to love this movie!

Hey Everyone....Our favorite Cowboy....a whole thread just for him.....
Now....FIRST THINGS FIRST...   This has to be one of the best picture's of Josh...Earl or not...he is soooo dam sexy in it...very natural.... Then....just when we thought he couldn't get any sexier....   David Semel...knew what he was doing....  __________________

Oh man, I love this movie
gotta love the bathtub scene  and all of these pictures are so hot, Katie, I love that pic in the truck...and when he is driving and kissing...alright, I'm off to watch this movie right now |

I love the quirkiness of this movie...It kinda reminds me of some of the old
Burt Reynolds movies...Josh can project the same kind of sexiness through humor that Reynolds did.. Like all his scenes with Junior...he plays the straight sexy guy part...that sets up all the great one liners Earl: So you won the lottery did ya....So what numbers did you have Junior: numbers...1....2.....3 The look on Earl's face Priceless...  Nobody has done this as well Reynolds...Until now!!! Josh can really play it all!!! and this role proves it.... __________________

I loved this movie as well! I loved Josh and Jaime king's chemistry. My favorite part as to be when

 I also enjoyed Jimbo, he is one of the only unstereotypical gay characters in film history. I loved Josh and Matt's banter, "Do you think he's gay?" "I have my doubts Jimbo". |

I agree...JoshandChristinaCursed....he has chemistry with everyone
and in this particular film...impecable timing... I read in an article one time a reporter say...he thought he could have Chemistry with a brick wall...I tend to agree with that also...LOL...LOL One of my Fav. lines is..."Earl's Kissin his Sister".....   __________________

I just love Earl's utter calm in the face of crazy adversity -- that and the fact that he just walks away from life or death situations. It just cracks ME UP!!
